Are the teases from the most recent movie posters not enough? Lionsgate’s 2017 Power Rangers reboot is looking amazing! Some are calling it The Breakfast Club with powers, but what I took away from the new trailer was a mix of 2012’s Chronicle tone with a little X-Men First Class. And that’s without seeing the Rangers in full costume or their Zords. Although the movie isn’t due out until next March, Ranger Nation is gearing up for this seasons holiday shopping by showing a preview of their new toy line including the Red Rangers’ T-Rex Zord.
What’s cool to note is the giant cannon on the Zord’s back. What monstrosity will Rita Repulsa unleash that would make this come in handy? Will find out when Power Rangers hits theaters March 24th.
